Ringing bells for the Salvation Army
The Salvation Army began in 1852 and is committed to doing the most good for the most people in the most need. The nation's largest faith-based charity, The Salvation Army serves 30 million people each year through a broad array of social services. The Salvation Army exists to meet human need wherever, whenever, and however it can.
In Northwest Ohio, services offered include aid to families, holiday assistance, food pantry, emergency services, substance abuse treatment, and various outreach ministries. Visit http://toledo.satruck.org/ to learn more.
Members of the MHL team served as bell ringers at the Kroger store in Maumee. The familiar red kettle at area stores helps to raise money for the Salvation Army's mission of helping families in need throughout Northwest Ohio.
